How It Feels to Lose Your Mind
Complete jigsaw puzzles while you slowly begin to lose your mind...
This game was made as a fun little side project over the course of a few months while I worked on another game. I wanted to make something with a different atmosphere to what I'm used to and am quite happy with how it turned out. Hope you enjoy it!
Please note that I'd recommend downloading the game below for the best experience if possible. If you choose to play in browser, press F11 to make the browser Fullscreen.

Wow this was strangely addictive, what I thought was going to be a quick play through turned into a strangely difficult adventure trying to recreate the picture. I love the music and the difficulty increasing exponentially!
Thank you so much for playing my game!!
Has promise, but the choice to make the background almost indistinguishable from several of the pieces makes them easy to lose, even with accessibility settings cranked up. This coupled with the lack of any sort of 'click' when pieces are in close proximity takes away from the typical fun of jigsaw puzzles, and undercuts your theme of hidden texts.
For example, I can see the text and the entire image is complete, but there are minuscule gaps between several of the pieces and it just becomes tedious to try and adjust every piece down to the pixel perfect edge.
Yeah these are valid critiques, thanks for the feedback!
I tried to fix the issue with the difficult to see pieces by adding a subtle glow to the cursor without it being distracting but it still can be hard to see them.
As for the 'click' when pieces are close to each other, I didn't really know how to do this without making it possible for the player to just brute-force all pieces together until they 'click', thus taking away any difficulty. There's probably a way to overcome this issue but, to be completely honest, I just wanted to release it haha.
I do appreciate the feedback though, thanks!!!
Brute forcing can be a valid solving strategy. So I guess it depends on if you want people to enjoy the game overall, however they play, or to make it harder/impossible and thus less fun to do it 'right'
